*Reading the article titled, “A Message to Mayor Pete from a Latina Mama: “Don’t Force Your Sexual Ideology on Me and My Children,” by Ana Samuel created this response.
I was a bigot against LGBTQ persons to the point of being critical, being disgusted, and being angered. My being came from family, friends, religion, and readings. Now, I am embarrassed at myself for not following the Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent God of love. Believing LGBTQ is a choice, proves wrong scientifically or from the power, thought, and presence of God.
Why limit oneself to believe LGBTQ is a choice and not a choice of children born healthy, lacking body activity, having health conditions, developed mental issues, or missing body parts or functions? How was it my choice to be born with cells of what is considered normal or the choice of hermaphrodites to be born as they are? At conception, neither I nor anyone else had the opportunity to choose mental or physical capacity.
Pete Buttigieg has said, “Speaking only for myself, I can tell you that if being gay was a choice, it was a choice that was made far, far above my pay grade. And that’s the thing I wish the Mike Pence of the world would understand, that if you’ve got a problem with who I am, your problem is not with me. Your quarrel, sir, is with my creator.”
I can claim to be closer to God than Mayor Pete or anyone else, but it would be false; as false as saying the consciousness of living life is Godless. Fractionalizing matter, life, or persons, debunks the theology of God being Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent.
There is God within Buttigieg. He is not responsible for perceived wrongs of society for tweeting, “people will often be polite to you in person while advancing policies that harm you and your family. You will be polite to them in turn, but you need not stand for such harms. Instead, you push back, honestly, and emphatically. So, it goes in the public square.”
There is God within Buttigieg.”
Ms. Ana Samuel writes, “Mr. Mayor, it is hypocritical for you to cry foul about policies that ‘harm you and your family’ while your side pushes for government intrusions into the parent-child relationship at the most fundamental levels,” asserting “her side” comes from moral principal and authenticity.
She wrote he is hypocritical, crying foul, pinning him as “them” and not “us,” and assigning most her straight complaints to him. It may be possible Mr. Buttigieg has been misjudged as I find no attacks against straight people and nor a participant in policies affecting them/us.
Ms. Samuel leaves no doubt of her concern for children. Yet the hidden thrust of her message appears as she waves her sword of justice: educating and protecting our children from harm when we believe they are in danger of the harmful sexual ideology of the left.
She turned the focus of her concern for children into a political statement against the left and same gender sex. Same gender sex was also my intrusive quandary learned from family, friends, religion, and readings, but as much as Ms. Samuel’s consensual sexual acts are private from public or government scrutiny, so it is with LGBTQ persons. She nor I seem interested in same-gender sex, yet it is of no one’s business to pry in ours or theirs.
Darwinism and the allegorical reference to the fall of man in the Book of Genesis explains how the belief in separation came into the human mind and how this belief has separated and distinguished our awareness of self. Whenever we criticize life, we are criticizing ourselves, as we are one with life. When two people first express physical sexual love, they go through an exciting communication barrier to learn more of ourselves.
The Root Chakra is the holy fire to the center of creativity, and I Am Self. Humans taught from childhood condemnation of sexual expression are first troubled if they feel pleasure during sexual intercourse. The truth is sexual pleasure experienced by one, the other or both is beautiful and good.
Buttigieg has not entered battles telling others how and with whom to be, how to raise children, nor has he initiated any policies interfering with my “normalcy.” If your schools are not teaching your lifestyle, change schools. If you think your pediatrician is perversely informing your children, search for another doctor.
Buttigieg noted that at one point in his life, he would have taken “a pill to make me straight.” He sent a message to VP Pence: “It has made me more compassionate, more understanding, more self-aware, more decent. My marriage to Chasten has made me a better man. And yes, Mr. Vice President, it has moved me closer to God.”
God is of values and love, not politics. Turning concern for children into politics as did Ms. Samuel, I do not intend to vote Mayor Pete Buttigieg for President. For himself, he is right, not left out in his guidance from God. He gets my vote for being a Christian and for who he is. I’ll honor the perplexities and the dynamics of cellular organism furnished to each from the source of a higher pay grade than mine.
We should all go through self-introspection to find I Am Self and be closer to God. An Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent God can help with self-study because we are not all-powerful and all-knowing humans, although our ego is bothered that we are not all-present in our God living brothers. I choose to live and let live, with my God in all living life.
